Description
Size: 5-7mm
Basic colour: Orange and black.
Pattern colour: Head black, pronotum orange-red, elytra yellow with black markings forming an approximate cross.
Pronotoum: Orange-red, almost unpunctured.
Leg colour: Pale with femoral apices and tarsi blackened.

Biology
Status: Scarce. Local with scattered recent records from Cornwall and Sussex in England and Fermanagh, Clare and Kerry in Ireland.

Habitat: Grasslands, probably associated with Galeruca tanaceti.
Other notes: Elytra extemely wide and convex, sides rounded, widest near apex; intervals finely punctured.
