Well known Hemipterist who worked at the NHM 1970-1991 and wrote the book The Hemiptera, OUP, 1991. He did publish one article on beetles ‘The first record of Apion dispar Germar in Britain’ in EMM., 110, 1974, p.181, based on a specimen which he had taken at Lydden in Kent on 4 August 1967.
