Description

Size: 9-11mm
Basic colour: Bright green, sometimes with a golden or bluish tint.
Pronotoum: Small and narrow, hardly wider than head; sides sinuate in front of sharp hind angles; punctuation dense only near margins.
Leg colour: Pale.

Biology

Status: Widespread in south and east England as far north as Yorkshire, also south Wales; very local in Ireland and not recorded since 1938.
Habitat: Mud and clay cracks near water.
Other notes: Elytra with sides
