Basic colour: Usually pale brilliant green bordered with blue, golden-green or copper/bronze; sometimes dark blue, or with blue to blue-green pronotum or elytra.

Biology

Status: Common and widespread
Habitat: Anywhere with willows
Host plant: Willows, sometimes poplars/aspen, occasionally other trees
Overwintering: Adults hibernate in grass tussocks, under bark or in moss on willows
Food: Adults on leaves (and possibly tree pollen), larvae at roots.
